Role overview: As the Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist, you will manage daily activities for transporting goods, including perishables, from port of destination to final consignee. Your responsibilities include communicating with carriers, co-loaders, truckers, customs brokers, and vendors; providing solutions for discrepancies, holds, or delays; and maintaining clear communication with the Operational Customer Care team. Your focus will be on operational excellence with clear KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction, transparency, and neutrality across branches.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and monitor transportation of goods
• Provide booking confirmations and legal documents for export (bill of lading, FDA, CERS, certificates, etc.)
• Communicate with service providers and arrange payments
• Work with Customer Care teams on delays and deviations
• Manage costs, rates, and documentation for shipments
• Arrange cargo insurance and handle claims
• Support Pharma Chain products ensuring GXP compliance
• Ensure temperature control for reefer shipments

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent in supply chain management or related field
• At least 2 years of Sea Logistics Export and Freight Forwarding experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; administrative/data entry skills
• Certification in CIFFA, CITT, or similar preferred
