Job summary

Appnovation is seeking a Scrum Master to lead multiple concurrent scrum teams delivering digital transformation and development projects for clients worldwide.

You will coach teams in Agile frameworks, coordinate sprints, backlogs, stand-ups, and ensure high-quality deliverables within budget and schedule.

Strong English communication, 3–4 years of Agile PM or Scrum Master experience in a digital agency, and Scrum Master certification are required.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of Agile Project Management or Scrum Master experience in a digital agency
• Strong knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Experience with other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Crystal, XP, SAFe will be a plus
• Must have Scrum Master Certification or hands-on Agile experience
• Strong English communication skills across organizational levels
• Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple concurrent scrum teams for a global, growing client list
• Manage project timelines, budgets and costs within or under budget
• Plan and execute sprints, retrospectives and daily stand-ups
• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog grooming and new requests
• Facilitate internal communications and serve as the contact with external stakeholders
• Estimate velocity, track costs, develop resource plans and assess risks
• Coach teams in Agile practices to raise scrum maturity
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to improve delivery
• Ensure deliverables meet high-quality standards at sprint end
• Recommend process improvements in project delivery
• Foster a productive environment where teams own the product

You Will Have An Opportunity To

• Manage multiple concurrent projects for Appnovation's global and growing list of clients
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and maintain costs to remain within or under budget
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
• Work with Product Owners to handle backlog grooming and new requests
• Facilitate internal communications and be the point of contact with external stakeholders
• Estimate and track project velocity, costs, develop resource plans, and assess potential issues and risks
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and guide teams to higher levels of scrum maturity
• Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and help teams implement changes effectively
• Ensure deliverables meet high quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Identify and provide recommendations for process improvement in project delivery
• Help build a productive and enjoyable environment where team members own the product

Job Skills And Requirements

As a Scrum Master with Appnovation, you'll be responsible for managing multi-functional teams in the business of consulting, designing, developing, training and supporting digital transformation and digital marketing solutions for our clients around the world.

Must Haves

• 3-4 years of Agile Project Management or proven Scrum Master experience in a digital agency, professional services or consulting environment, with a focus on running multiple concurrent scrum teams
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks is a plus (Kanban, Crystal, XP, SAFe, etc.)
• Must have either Scrum Master Certification or hands-on Agile experience that can be described in detail
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization
• Exceptional planning, organizational, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Business analysis and requirements management experience
• A solid understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software development, including mobile development, web development or multi-tech platform implementation
