A leading company in Regina is seeking a Scrum Master to lead multiple high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will promote Agile practices, facilitate scrum ceremonies, and remove impediments to enhance team effectiveness. This role requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills along with a degree in a related field and certification as a Scrum Master.
Term: 1 year term with possible extension
Work as Scrum Master with high-performing teams promoting Agile practices, and consistently reinforcing scrum theory and values. You’ll help remove impediments to team members’ success while appreciating their diverse skillsets and fostering engagement. Challenging team members to self-organize as cross-functional teams, you’ll lead scrum ceremonies, encourage collaboration in our fast-paced environment, and assist with the product backlogs and other sprint work.
Experience & skills required:
• 3-5 years Scrum Master experience
• Experience working with Scrum/Kanban or other Agile methodologies. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is required, PMI-ACP or equivalent would be an asset.
• The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or business administration and at least five years of related experience (or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team building
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
What you’ll do:
• Scrum Master for 2-3 teams
• Remove impediments for the Team and the Product Owner
• Process Management and Improvement – champion on-going process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile and Scrum Master role.
• Team Building – Ensuring a good working relationship between team members, promote empowerment of the team, ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in their work and in the project
