Job summary

Primoris Canada is seeking a Screw Pile Operator to maintain and operate equipment for screw pile installations. This work is outdoors and physically demanding, located in Fort McMurray with a 24/4 shift or project-determined schedule and camp accommodations available.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, responsibilities include pre-job inspections, loading/unloading materials, operating excavators and attachments, and participating in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Experience operating John Deere Excavators & Link-Belt Excavators with Helical/Screw Piling Drive heads.
• Experience operating a wheel loader, skid steer, and pipe grapple.
• Ability to read and follow detailed plans/drawings.
• Must be physically able to lift 50 lb.
• Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, OH&S standards.
• Demonstrate safe operating procedures on all equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment (greasing, inspections).
• Load/unload materials and pipe as required.
• Utilize equipment attachments (Grapple, Pallet Forks, Jib, Bucket).
• Complete pre-job equipment inspections.
• Attend required safety and toolbox meetings.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
