Job summary

Primoris Canada is hiring a Millwright for the CNRL Maintenance site in Fort McMurray, AB. The role involves installation, maintenance and repair of stationary industrial machinery, indoors or outdoors, with a 7-on/7-off shift and camp accommodation available.

You will read diagrams and schematics to determine procedures, operate rigging equipment to move heavy parts, fit bearings and align gears, and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems while meeting OH&S rules and tailgate meetings.

Qualifications

• Registered Millwright journeyman with CSO Regional ticket.
• Experience on industrial sites preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules and OH&S standards.
• Read diagrams and schematics to determine procedures.
• Operate rigging equipment to position heavy machinery.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, connect motors and belts.
• Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Attend safety meetings and toolbox talks.
