Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a safety-focused Screed Operator with 3+ years of highway construction experience to join our Alberta team. You will work on paving projects across the province, maintaining safety and efficiency on site and coordinating with crew members.

Position runs from May to November 2026, with travel across Alberta and long shifts. Living-out allowance and RV/camper accommodations are available, with camp hookups provided where offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Grader Operator on highway construction projects.
• Ability to operate other equipment such as roller, paver, etc.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the grader and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with other crew members and operators to ensure smooth, efficient paving operations.
• Uphold Ledcor’s Health & Safety programs and procedures at all times.
