Job summary

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Grader Operator on highway construction projects.
Ability to operate other equipment such as rollers and pavers.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Flexibility to work on projects across Alberta; travel required.
Availability for 10–14 hour shifts, including nights and overtime.
Preference for candidates with an RV or trailer.

Responsibilities

Operate the grader and other heavy equipment as needed.
Collaborate with crew members and operators to ensure smooth, efficient paving operations.
Uphold Ledcor’s Health & Safety programs and procedures.
Work on highway construction and paving projects across Alberta.
Work field-based from May to November 2026.
Work 10–14 hour shift rotations, including nights and overtime.
