Job summary

ScotiaMcLeod in White Rock is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Associate to support an Advisor in Total Wealth Planning by preparing and delivering comprehensive financial plans to clients. The role focuses on discovery, plan creation, and coordinated delivery within a collaborative wealth-management team.

Candidates should hold CFP or IQFP (QC) with at least two years of experience, demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, and be proficient with advanced financial planning software.

Qualifications

• CFP or IQFP designation and ≥ 2 years experience.
• Advanced understanding of financial planning software; ability to model complex strategies.
• Experience in Total Wealth Planning engagement from client discovery, plan preparation to presentation delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support an Advisor in Total Wealth Planning by preparing and delivering financial plans to clients.
• Assist Advisor in implementation of Total Wealth Strategies in collaboration with a Team of Specialists.
• Champion a client focused culture to deepen client relationships.
• Support Advisor in creating and delivering client seminars related to financial planning topics.
• Maintain financial planning professional practice standards while staying current on all financial planning related topics.

DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS

We would love to work with you if you have:
