Job summary

ScotiaMcLeod, a cornerstone of Scotia Wealth Management, is seeking a Senior Associate to support a Wealth Advisor in building and managing their book of business by providing effective client service and contributing to business development and sales related activities.

Based in Montreal, you will identify new opportunities, deepen client relationships, prepare and present reports, and collaborate with Total Wealth Specialists to deliver personalized solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in the securities industry.
• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and time management.
• Exceptional client service skills, professional experience with clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities to gather additional assets and increase revenue.
• Utilize knowledge of products and services to develop opportunities within existing clients.
• Work with Advisor and specialists to deepen client relationships.
• Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients.
• Develop and distribute client communications and marketing pieces.
• Ensure administrative processes are streamlined and tasks logged for tracking.

As a Senior Associate you will work closely with a Wealth Advisor in the development and management of their book of business by providing effective client service and contributing to business development and sales related activities.

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU

In the role you will:

Identifynew business opportunities to gatheradditionalassets and/or increase revenue

Utilize your in-depth knowledge of products and services toidentifynew opportunities within the existing client base

Work with Advisor and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships

Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients

Work with the Advisor to develop and distribute client communication and marketing pieces

Regularly review practices to ensure administrative processes are streamlined and administrative tasks being completed and logged for tracking purposes

DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS

We would love to work with you if you have:

Experience in the securities industry

Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience
