Job summary

ScotiaMcLeod, a cornerstone of Scotia Wealth Management, seeks a Senior Associate to support a Wealth Advisor in growing and managing a book of business. You will provide client service, contribute to business development, and assist with sales activities in a collaborative, team-based environment.

You’ll identify opportunities, leverage product knowledge, and prepare reports for clients while developing communications and marketing materials to elevate the client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in the securities industry with a track record of client service.
• Approval as a Registered Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management abilities.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities to gather assets and increase revenue.
• Leverage knowledge of products and services to identify opportunities within existing client base.
• Collaborate with Advisor and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships.
• Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients.
• Develop and distribute client communications and marketing materials.
• Review practices to ensure administrative processes are efficient and properly logged.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

As a Senior Associate you will work closely with a Wealth Advisor in the development and management of their book of business by providing effective client service and contributing to business development and sales related activities.

In The Role You Will

• Identify new business opportunities to gather additional assets and/or increase revenue
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of products and services to identify new opportunities within the existing client base
• Work with Advisor and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships
• Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients
• Work with the Advisor to develop and distribute client communication and marketing pieces
• Regularly review practices to ensure administrative processes are streamlined and administrative tasks being completed and logged for tracking purposes

Do You Have The Skills

• Experience in the securities industry
• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Exceptional client service skills, providing a professional and respectful experience
