Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a School Registered Practical Nurse to provide in-home and school-based care within the Greater Hamilton area. This casual role involves traveling to schools and communities, delivering personalized nursing care, and coordinating with families and educators to support student health and safety.

Qualifications

• Education & Certification: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and active registration with the provincial regulator (CNO).
• Experience: 1–2 years in a community nursing setting is preferred.
• Other requirements: Valid G2 or G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle. Travel within Hamilton/Burlington area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized high-quality nursing care in schools and community settings.
• Act as primary care planner and collaborate with families, teachers and other health professionals.
• Teach and delegate tasks appropriately across client and family members while maintaining Bayshore’s standards.
