Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join the Learning Supports team. The role involves delivering OT services across Kindergarten to Grade 12 within inclusive school environments and requires travel with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists to practice.
• Minimum 2 years experience with children with multiple complex needs.
• Experience in school settings is an asset.
• Expertise in diagnosing and planning therapy for neurological/developmental disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT services within typical classroom activities.
• Support motor development and independence in daily occupations.
• Develop goals and activities aligned to Individual Program Plans.
• Collaborate with school staff and learning supports teams.
• Provide in-service training for staff and families.
• Prepare assessment and treatment reports for families and professionals.
• Refer to external agencies when needed.
