Interdisciplinary survey of major global health issues which addresses the incidence, distribution and control of disease and of major health issues such as hunger and malnutrition; infant mortality rates; and the incidence of preventable diseases in some geographical regions, as well as cases such as: the physical (e.g. malaria transmitted by mosquitos; cholera is caused by drinking contaminated water or food), and the social, economic and political determinants (e.g. poverty; lack of access to clean water or mosquito nets).
PhD is preferred; individuals who are close to completion will be considered.This position is subject to final budgetary approval and may be subject to minimum enrolment.
