Responsibilities

• Performs cooking and food preparation tasks with proper and safe technique.
• Oversees student learning stations and assists with equipment use.
• Prepares, serves, and/or sells food items during meal periods.
• Prepares a variety of hot and cold foods and portions for service.
• Assists with menu planning and ordering.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and stores supplies properly.
• Receives, stores, rotates incoming food and records inventory.
• Operates equipment such as slicer, dishwasher, mixer, and ovens.
• Supervises students in the teaching kitchen.
