Job summary

Kahkewistahaw First Nation #72 is seeking a Nutritionist Assistant to support planning, preparation, and delivery of daily breakfast and lunch for over 250 students from Head Start through Grade 12 at Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School (CKCS).

Supervised by the Principal and Assistant Principal, the role helps ensure access to healthy meals that support academic success, and supports menu planning, budgeting, food safety, and inventory management.

The Nutritionist Assistant is responsible for the assisting with planning, preparation, and delivery
of daily breakfast and lunch services for over 250 students from Head Start through Grade 12 at
Chief Kahkewistahaw Community School (CKCS). This position is supervised by the Principal
and Assistant Principal and plays a key role in ensuring that students have access to healthy,
nutritious meals that support their academic success. The Nutritionist Assistant is responsible
for assisting with menu planning, budgeting, food safety, inventory management,
and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. The Breakfast and Lunch
Program operates Monday through Friday during the academic school year and extends into the
summer months to support kitchen operations, inventory, and preparation for the upcoming
school year.
