Job summary

Living Sky School Division No.202 is seeking a part-time School Counsellor to provide support for students both individually and in groups. The role requires collaboration with school teams, families, and community agencies to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will assist in addressing behavioural, emotional, social, and mental health concerns while promoting resilience and healthy relationships. This is a temporary position starting on August 26, 2026, and ending on January 29, 2027.

Qualifications

• Education, experience, and certification as required by the Province of Alberta for employment as a school counsellor.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive counselling supports for students individually and in groups.
• Support student well-being through preventative and capacity-building initiatives.
• Assist schools with behavioural, emotional, social, and mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and community agencies for student success.
