First Student in Sydney, NS is hiring Spare School Bus Drivers to transport students safely using industry-leading technology to guide routes. Join a team dedicated to safety and reliability with opportunities to pick up charter routes.

No nights or weekends and comprehensive training are offered; candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license for at least one year and pass required medical and background checks.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
• Undergo & pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination & Background checks.

Responsibilities

• Join our team of professional drivers dedicated to getting students to and from school safely.
• Drivers enjoy the support of our industry leading technology to guide them through their daily routes.
• Prioritize vehicle maintenance by conducting pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus.
