Job summary

First Student in Halifax, NS is hiring Part Time School Bus Drivers in the HRM area. You will start mornings with student pickups and return them home after school, with extra hours for field trips and special events when available.

No experience is required, as expert training and guidance are provided to help you become a safe and professional driver. You must be 21+ with a full Class 5 license for at least one year, and enjoy working with students.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a full Class 5 license for at least 1 year.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.
• Enjoy working with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unloading and assist with seatbelts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report issues and communicate with parents and staff.
