First Student Regina is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to start mornings with student pickups and end with afternoon drops. No experience is required, as we provide expert training and guidance to help you become a safe, professional driver.

This role offers hourly pay and opportunities for field trips and events. You’ll have guaranteed minimum hours and the chance to advance into operations across Canada and the U.S. Our team supports community safety every day.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License and meet state/provincial requirements.
• Experience driving or supervising students is helpful but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, schools, and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities on a morning and afternoon schedule.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and comply with safety standards and traffic laws.
• Communicate delays or behavior concerns with parents and school staff.

As a Part Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. Your day as a School Bus Driver will include:

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about student behavior or delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
