Job summary

Tgt Inc School Bus in Pickering, Ontario, is hiring a part-time school bus driver to transport students safely between home and school and on field trips. The role requires a B Class license in Ontario, clear English communication, and experience with children.

You'll work 3–4 hours daily, with summers, PD days, and statutory holidays off. A Level C certificate is preferred, and you will follow Ministry regulations and company routes.

Qualifications

• You hold a school bus driver’s B Class license in Ontario for 3+ years.
• You have a good understanding of English and are able to communicate effectively.
• Experience working with young children.
• Knowledge of Ministry of Transport regulations (CPR).
• Level C certificate.
• Key competencies: Time management, Patience, Good listening, Good judgment, Adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus and transport passengers to their destinations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus interior.
• Provide excellent customer service to all passengers.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Follow established routes and timetables.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
