Job summary

Southland Transportation is seeking dedicated and safety-minded School Bus Drivers to join our team. This essential role offers job security, a flexible schedule and the chance to make a difference by transporting children to school safely.

Drivers work a split shift (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon) during the school year, with time off in July and August. We offer a $1,000 hiring bonus for regular routes or a $500 bonus for spare drivers, paid after six months of employment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; S endorsement training provided

SOUTHLAND is currently offering a hiring bonus for new School Bus Drivers. Drivers assigned to a regular route are eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus. Spare drivers are eligible for a $500 hiring bonus. This will be paid out following six months of employment.

Job Description

Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students daily and must be committed to safety and customer service.

As a School Bus Driver, you will work a split shift, being paid for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Drivers work during the school year and are given time off in July and August.
