Job summary

SOUTHLAND Transportation is hiring new and experienced School Bus Drivers to join our team. Drive approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon during the school year, with time off in July and August.

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no mandatory nights or weekends, free training, and opportunities to advance within a growing company. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• S-endorsement is preferred
• Wheelchair experience will be considered an asset
• Clear criminal background check with VSS search
• Clear driver’s abstract
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience
• Must have a safe driving record
• Organized, punctual and reliable
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Commitment to excellence in customer service
