Voyago Transdev is hiring School Bus Drivers in Kingston for the 2026/2027 school year. We are seeking Part-Time Drivers and Route Support Drivers to cover Kingston and surrounding areas, with a clear hourly wage of $23 for all hours worked. Responsibilities

• Safely transport students within Kingston and surrounding region to and from school.
• Prioritize student safety during boarding, transit, and exiting.

• Maintain bus cleanliness and basic upkeep; assist with fueling when needed.

We are currently seeking Part-Time Drivers and Route Support Drivers in Kingston & surrounding region. Part-Time Drivers will be assigned to open routes, while Route Support Drivers will assist with temporary vacancies and support future route opportunities.

Your role:

• Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day
• Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
• Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition *which you are paid for!
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well kept, professional vehicle
• Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle
• Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations
• Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers

Your profile:

• You are safety focused
• You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license for at least 1 year
  • If you don’t currently hold a B or E Class licence, Voyago has you covered—full training is provided at no cost to you!
• You are 21 years of age or over
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
• You have a sound knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areas
• You have the ability to work independently
• You are available for the required shifts:
  • Monday to Friday approximately6:00am to 9:15am AND 1:00pm to 4:30pm (Start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route
• You possess solid communication skills
• You enjoy being around children of all ages
• You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions
• You are comfortable driving large vehicles
• You can have basic computer skills and can easily navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit
• We offer a competitive hourly pay $23/hour for all hours, including driving, admin time, meetings, etc.
