Job summary

Manitoba First Nations Educational Resource Centre is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school-based team providing assessment, programming and therapy in First Nations schools across Manitoba. The role includes consultative services to support three-tiered service delivery and improve student access to academics.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with CASLPM registration (full or provisional) and a School Clinical Certificate, plus experience with

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • CASLPM registration (full or provisional) is required.
  • Permanent or provisional School Clinical Certificate is required.
  • Familiarity with Manitoba curriculum frameworks is expected.
  • Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector check is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, programming and therapeutic intervention for First Nations schools in Manitoba.
  • Deliver consultative services within a three-tiered service delivery model.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary school-based team to enhance access to academics and participation.
