The Catholic Independent Schools of the Diocese of Nelson (CISND) is hiring at St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School in Trail, BC for a School Age Care Worker/Responsible Adult for after school care.

Available immediately, the role requires supervision from 2:45-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a Catholic education setting.

Qualifications

• Requires Responsible Adult certification.
• Hours 2:45-5:00PM Monday to Friday.
• Educational Assistant or Early Childhood experience is preferred.
• Commitment to Catholic Education and participation in parish life.
• First Aid Training Certificate is recommended.

This posting requires a Responsible Adult (or higher) certification. The hours required are from 2:45-5:00PM Monday through Friday.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:

• Commitment to Catholic Education
• Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish
• Training specific to the role (Early Childhood Educator, Responsible Adult training)
• Successful Educational Assistant or Early Childhood experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
• Ability to work well with children, colleagues, and administration
• First Aid Training Certificate

As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to submit the following:

• Photocopy of Canadian Birth Certificate or Canadian Passport (documentation to indicate you are legally entitled to work in Canada)
• Social Insurance Number
• Photocopy of Driver's License
