Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an Apprentice or Journeyperson Scaffolder for a major Potash Mine Project in Leroy, SK. Responsibilities include erecting, reading drawings, installing platforms, and maintaining safety on site.

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson ticket or be registered as Apprentice; industrial construction experience preferred; outdoor work, travel/camp accommodations provided.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Scaffolder ticket required.
  • Apprentice Scaffolder must be registered with a provincial training authority or SAIA program.
  • Industrial construction experience preferred.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in high traffic areas.
  • Fall protection CSTS 2020 / CSO / SCOTT is considered asset.
  • Valid government ID.

Responsibilities

  • Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffold systems per drawings and site requirements.
  • Read scaffold drawings and blueprints to ensure safe construction.
  • Install platforms, guardrails, ladders, and fall protection.
  • Inspect components and structures for safety and compliance.
  • Work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Complete FLHAs and follow site safety procedures.
  • Handle and transport scaffold materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with trades and assist with general labour.
  • Meet deadlines while upholding Ledcor safety and quality standards.

Are you a skilled Apprentice or Journeyperson Scaffolder looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a major industrial project?

At Ledcor, we take pride in safety, quality, and craftsmanship, and we’re looking for dedicated professionals to join our team for a major Potash Mine Project in Leroy, SK

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffold systems (tube & clamp, system scaffold) in accordance with drawings and site requirements

  • Read and interpret scaffold drawings and blueprints to ensure safe and accurate construction

  • Install platforms, guardrails, access ladders, and fall protection systems

  • Inspect scaffolding components and completed structures to ensure safety and compliance

  • Work safely at heights and in confined spaces

  • Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit systems

  • Handle, transport, and organize scaffold materials and equipment efficiently

  • Support site housekeeping, coordination with other trades, and general labour duties as required

  • Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality

Requirements:
  • Journeyperson Scaffolder ticket from a recognized provincial training authority

  • Apprentice Scaffolder must be registered with a provincial training authority or SAIA program

  • Previous industrial construction experience preferred

  • Ability to work safely at heights and high traffic areas

  • Fall protection and CSTS 2020 / CSO / SCOTT is considered asset

  • Valid government ID

Working Conditions
  • 14/7 rotation working 10 hours with possibility of additional OT

  • Day and Night Shift available

  • Travel/flight allowance for provided for non-local residents

  • Camp based accommodation

  • Benefits provided by CLAC

  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
