Job summary

The City of Hamilton is seeking a SCADA Supervisor (Instrumentation & Control) to oversee SCADA for water and wastewater facilities, directing a team of technicians and coordinating with operations, engineering and contractors. You will lead development of standards, manage backups, review programming, participate in FAT/SAT tests and support capital upgrades while ensuring safety and compliance.

• SCADA knowledge and supervision experience required.
• Experience with water/wastewater SCADA systems preferred.
• Project management and vendor coordination experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity for OT/ICS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise SCADA technician staff.
• Develop, implement and maintain SCADA standards.
• Maintain SCADA systems: graphics, tagging, database config, reporting.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance trades.
• Provide emergency response for SCADA issues.
• Support capital upgrades and contractor oversight.
