Job summary

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work night shifts in a demanding environment. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Willingness to work night shifts and in a sawmill environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repair services.
• Establish work schedules and supervise workers.
• Oversee safety of operations and enforce procedures.
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Train staff in job duties and safety procedures.
• Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
• Monitor productivity and quality to improve outcomes.
