Job summary

JobsMedia.io is seeking a lumbermill operator to run and monitor automated sawmill equipment in a multi-shift environment. You will start conveyors, adjust saws, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, routine cleaning, and enforcing safety and environmental regulations. 40 hours per week with health benefits and RRSP options. Language flexibility in English or French is supported.

Qualifications

• Education as required: Other trades certificate or diploma.
• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.

• Monitor logs and lumber movement to ensure cuts are made according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust saw equipment.
• Clean and lubricate sawmill equipment.
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• Enforce environmental, fire safety and accident prevention regulation.
