  • Hours: Monday – Friday; 7 AM-3:30 PM.

  • Plainsman Mfg. Inc. is a locally owned manufacturing and distribution company operating out of Edmonton, Alberta since 1966.
  • We manufacture and distribute products for oilfield production, pipeline maintenance, construction and gas, and water distribution.
  • We have an in-house engineering department and a full-service manufacturing facility that enables us to respond efficiently to customer and industry needs.

Responsibilities of the Role:
Knowledge:
  • High School.
  • Basic Lean principles.

Experience:
  • Saw operating experience; 6 months to 1 year.

Skills:
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Running a Hyd-Mech saw.
  • Material handling.
  • Measurement with calipers and tape measure.
  • Machine operation and maintenance.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Troubleshoot small issues and make corrections.
  • Produces quality.

Attitude:
  • Workflow optimization.
  • Desire to learn & improve.
  • Small incremental improvements.
  • Engaged in their work.
