Job summary

Raise is seeking a Technical Specialist – SAP Service & Asset Manager (SSAM) in Burnaby, BC. The role focuses on end-to-end technical support, configuration, and maintenance of the SSAM mobile app within SAP ecosystems, enabling field operations and asset management across SAP S/4HANA and ECC.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of SAP technical experience with SSAM focus, strong ABAP/SAPUI5 skills, and familiarity with mobile development and ESRI geospatial integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP technical experience, with at least 2 years focused on SAP EAM and Service & Asset Manager.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Service & Asset Manager architecture and functionalities.
• Proficiency in ABAP, SAPUI5, OData services, and SAP Mobile Services.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Knowledge of ESRI integration and geospatial data handling.
• Mobile development experience with SAP iOS SDK, MDK, and deployment.
• Familiarity with offline synchronization and persona-based mobile workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Education: Bach./ certs: SAP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP Service & Asset Manager mobile app across iOS and Windows.
• Plan and execute upgrades of SSAM application and backend.
• Manage integration with SAP ERP and S/4HANA using SAP Mobile Services and BPM/BTB.
• Configure personas and role-based access for SSAM users.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for SSAM and backend services.
• Develop enhancements using MDK, SAPUI5, and Fiori elements.
• Implement custom workflows and branding for SSAM clients.
• Integrate SSAM with Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, HR and Finance.
• Document configurations and provide end-user training.
