The opportunity

EY Technology Consulting is a dynamic and rapidly growing area within EY. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager – SAP Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to develop your leadership potential. We seek an individual experienced in leading SAP projects with a knack for driving sales pursuits and business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

The SAP Solution Architect applies deep SAP functional and technical expertise across the SAP S/4HANA stack to deliver comprehensive SAP-enabled processes and solutions to clients. The role combines strong functional/technical knowledge, project management skills, and a thorough understanding of business processes. Core responsibilities include:

• Designing end-to-end SAP-enabled processes and solutions, managing all integration points across SAP functional areas.
• Collaborating with SAP functional teams to design, build, and implement complex cross-functional SAP solutions.
• Ensuring consistency and quality across SAP workstreams.
• Supporting SAP functional teams in evaluating and designing custom development solutions (RICEFW).
• Leading SAP ‘Phase 0’ projects, including developing deployment strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Working with reporting, analytics, BASIS, development, data, and testing teams.
• Leading business development activities, including RFP pursuits and developing SAP assets and offerings.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Over 10 years of experience with multiple end-to-end SAP or similar ERP implementations in a solution architect role.
• Experience in the energy sector is preferred but not required.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and foster an inclusive environment.
• Experience in proposal writing and delivering presentations.
• Interest in SAP and project management trends.
• Proactive, adaptable, and forward-thinking.
• Strong work ethic, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and professionalism in handling client needs.

The salary range in British Columbia is $120,500 to $216,000, determined by factors like education, experience, skills, and location.
