Raise is currently hiring a SAP Security Consultant on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our client is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. We will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.

Description

The SAP Security Consultant in this role will be instrumental in managing and securing the organization’s extensive SAP landscape, ensuring robust and compliant security environments across diverse platforms. Leveraging their expertise in various SAP Security modules to design, develop, and maintain secure solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing and securing SAP environments across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Fiori, GRC, BI/BW, EWM, HR Security, SuccessFactors, HANA DB, and Solution Manager. Proficiency in multiple SAP Security modules, including User Administration, Role Management & Development, Troubleshooting, Implementation, Testing, and Security Audits, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Present feasible technical options and develop sustainable custom security solutions following industry best practices and standards.
• Perform sustainment and operational activities, troubleshoot development and production issues, document resolutions, and create user assistance tools to ensure SAP security system performance.
• Review functional specifications and propose technical designs to development leads, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Design, develop, and document security solutions, plan data conversions, and monitor progress, collaborating with teams and vendors as needed.
• Perform user provisioning for various SAP systems, manage user access, and support business operations.
• Provide ongoing guidance, advice, and cross-training on SAP security, collaborating with teams and communicating with stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience developing security solutions in a minimum of 8 SAP components, including ECC, BI/BW, E-Recruiting, Fiori, Solution Manager, PI, CRM, Gateway, MDG, GRC 10.0+.
• 3 years of experience in position-based security, structural authorization, and organizational levels.
• Technical expertise in managing SAP environments across ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Fiori, GRC, EWM, HR Security, SuccessFactors, HANA DB, and Solution Manager.
• Proficiency in SAP Security modules: User Administration, Role Management & Development, Troubleshooting, Testing, Security Audits.
• Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, workflows, forms, mobile platforms, process documentation, SSO, and ASAP methodology.
• Intermediate skills in ABAP development, Active Directory, and SAP HANA solutions are assets.
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science or related field, SAP certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
