Job summary

Pacer Group in Canada is seeking a SAP S/4HANA FICO functional consultant for a hybrid contract role. The position requires extensive SAP FICO and Ariba expertise, with 1 day per week in office, 6+ months duration, and a pay rate of CAD 45-48 per hour.

The successful candidate will lead full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, work across AP, GL, FA, and procure-to-pay processes, and collaborate with vendors and IT teams. BFSI domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall experience as an SAP S/4HANA FICO functional consultant in SAP FICO (GL| AP| FA) and SAP Ariba.
• Strong experience in S/4HANA Accounts Payable (AP) module and processes is MUST.
• At least one completed full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation / rollout project.
• At least 5 years of S/4 HANA FICO experience.
• Strong business knowledge in accounting| controlling| planning or general Finance - FICO and procure to pay processes using SAP Ariba.
• Strong understanding of the S/4 HANA Finance solution and master data concepts.
• Experience in working with interfaces with SAP (both SAP and non-SAP environments)
• Proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S/4 finance system issues
• Experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile| Waterfall
• Experience working with application vendors and building solutions involving integrating vendor applications into existing environment.
• Experience with creating effective design documentation and diagrams
