Job description

SAP FICO Support Consultant (8+ Years – Strong Support + Implementation Exposure)

Hiring an SAP FICO consultant with solid support experience (primary) and exposure to implementations/rollouts. Must be strong in core FICO configuration and integration. FSCM, RAR, and Concur are nice to have.

• Hands-on SAP FI configuration experience (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Reconciliation)
• SAP RAR experience is a plus, given our active revenue recognition work
• Strong understanding of FI integrations, including MM, SD, HR, and Concur
• S/4HANA experience required
• Concur knowledge (would love this but consider nice to have – however they should be willing to learn some of it)
• Ability to support month-end close activities
• Comfortable working in a landscape where SAP integrates with Salesforce and Mule
• Experience with sprint-based delivery alongside off-cycle/hypercare support
• TR management and coordination with Basis teams
• Familiarity with ticket-driven workflows (we use Shortcut and ServiceNow)
• Able to work independently, translating business requirements into configuration

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 support for GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, CO-PA.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root cause, work with ABAP team for fixes.
• Handle change requests, minor enhancements, and configuration updates.
• Support month-end/year-end processes (EBS, GR/IR, FX revaluation, depreciation runs).
• Work on small projects/rollouts including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live support.
• Manage FICO integration with MM (GR/IR, LIV) and SD (billing/revenue).
• Prepare functional specs for RICEFW objects and coordinate with technical teams.

Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on configuration:

• GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Internal Orders
• Payment program (FBZP), Dunning, EBS, House Banks
• IDoc monitoring and basic interface troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of financial closing and reconciliation processes.

Nice to Have:

• SAP FSCM experience (credit management)
• SAP RAR experience (revenue recognition concepts).
• SAP Concur (expense setup, integration).
• Exposure to S/4HANA (Universal Journal, New AA).

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently.
