Job description

SAP PS Consultant

Duration: 6 months

Location: Remote, some travel

Note: Experience in Event Based Revenue Recognition

Description:

We are seeking an SAP Project System (PS) consultant to assist our client in resolving PS issues in their S/4 environment. This involves reviewing the current solution, identifying and resolving issues to meet business needs, and supporting SAP in automatically calculating revenue and planned revenue across all customer projects. The majority of work can be done remotely, but some travel to three sites in Canada, UK, and France is required. Travel is unlikely to exceed 4 weeks in total.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the PS module, including the associated financials for customer projects and logistics processes for manufacturing against a project.

Skill Requirements

• Knowledge of SAP S/4 Results Analysis and Event Based Revenue Recognition
• Ability to interpret forecasts in Microsoft Project and generate an EAC in SAP
• Experience with Planned Results Analysis and revenue forecasting for Event Based Revenue Recognition
• Understanding of differences between valuated and non-valuated project stock and their financial postings
• Managing projects across multiple company codes and results analysis, especially when the selling entity differs from the entity performing the work
