Job summary

Ampstek in Toronto, Canada is seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant to work with business stakeholders and project teams to design, build, and deploy SAP solutions for global and local rollouts.

The consultant will bring deep functional expertise in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) to ensure successful end-to-end implementations, from blueprinting through go-live and postdeployment stabilization.

Qualifications

• Configuration expertise for PP and QM.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP PP/QM rollouts and implementations, including blueprinting, realization, testing, cutover, and go-live support.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis against global templates and identify localization requirements.
• Design and document to-be business processes aligned with SAP best practices for manufacturing and quality management.
• Configure SAP PP and QM modules, including integration with MM, WM/EWM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Prepare and review functional specifications for developments, enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution design and smooth integration across modules and external systems.
• Support data migration activities, including material master, BOMs, routings, work centers, inspection plans, and master data validation.
• Define and execute unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support; lead or support cutover planning, mock runs, and go-live execution.
• Work closely with business users to conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer.
• Identify opportunities for business process optimization and system standardization during rollout.
• Provide hypercare and transition support post go-live.
