Job summary

Addmore Group is seeking a SAP HR Payroll Consultant for a Calgary-based oil & gas client. The role is hybrid with 3 days on site, ASAP start, initial 1-year contract.

Strong hands-on SAP Canada Payroll configuration experience, including schemas, PCRs, wage types, and year-end activities, is required. You will lead onsite functional work with stakeholders and offshore AMS resources to ensure accurate payroll execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years SAP HR Payroll/Time experience
• Experience configuring SAP Canada Payroll including payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types
• Experience supporting year-end payroll activities and HRSP implementations
• Hands-on support for Canadian SAP Payroll for union and non-union employees
• Strong hands-on Time Management: time evaluation, schemas, PCRs, attendance/absence, quotas, WSRs, CATS, ESS/MSS
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for payroll/time issues and root-cause analysis
• Payroll and Time Management integrations and downstream payroll processing

Responsibilities

• Act as onsite functional lead with stakeholders, tech teams, and offshore AMS resources
• Configure SAP Canada Payroll schemas, PCRs, and wage types
• Support year-end payroll activities and legislative changes
• Provide hands-on payroll support for Canadian payroll (union & non-union)
• Implement Time Management: evaluation, schemas, PCRs, attendance/absence, quotas, WSRs, CATS, ESS/MSS
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll/time issues; root-cause analysis
• Ensure payroll/time integrations and downstream processing accuracy

Job Description

Min 7 years SAP HR Payroll/Time experience

• Act as the onsite functional lead, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore AMS resources to ensure effective production support and delivery of enhancements
• Strong experience in SAP Canada Payroll configuration, including payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, and other payroll-related configuration
• Experience supporting year-end payroll activities, legislative changes, and HR Support Pack (HRSP) implementations
• Provide hands‑on support for Canadian SAP Payroll for both Union and Non-Union employees
• Strong hands‑on experience with Positive and Negative Time Management, including Time Evaluation, schemas, PCRs, attendance and absence configuration, quotas, Work Schedule Rules (WSRs), CATS, and ESS/MSS
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to investigate and resolve complex Payroll and Time Management issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement appropriate configuration changes
• Payroll and Time Management integrations and ensure accurate downstream payroll processing
• Should be able to troubleshoot time related issues

Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
