Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada is seeking an SAP Functional Analyst focused on Production Planning. The role, based onsite in Longueuil/Mississauga area, involves collaborating with operations teams to optimize SAP PP processes and deliver integrated ERP solutions.

The successful candidate has 5+ years in SAP PP configuration, strong communication, and proven project delivery experience in dynamic environments. This on-site position offers growth within a leading aerospace digital transformation effort.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field with 5+ years IT experience in customer-facing roles and project delivery.
  • 5+ years of SAP Production Planning configuration experience (SAP S4 experience preferred).
  • Strong communicator with facilitation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the SAP S/4 Hana digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream.
  • Define processes with stakeholders to optimize Operations Systems and drive business benefits.
  • Perform technical and functional problem solving and ensure integration with other solutions.
  • Document requirements and translate into specs that meet business needs.
  • Lead/participate in ERP projects with stakeholder alignment on vision, scope, and budget.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements via standard configurations.

Position overview:

By joining us as a system analyst, you will be part of our onsite Digital Technologies team based in Longueuil, which focuses on delivering IT solutions for our Operations team, particularly for the Production, Assembly & Test and Plant Maintenance organizations.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, highly motivated and mission-driven individual who will engage directly with the operations organization to understand customer requirements, identify, and develop solutions that meet or exceed customers’ expectations

This position requires partnership with a cross functional Digital Technology team, 3rd party software vendors, partners and subject matter experts to develop and execute integrated solutions.

The individual will leverage a strong technical background to propose solutions, troubleshoot complex issues and propose innovative solutions that leverage best practices and technologies within the company’s application processes and architecture.

What your day to day will look like:

Participate in the SAP S/4 Hana digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream

Work with business stakeholders and other functional areas to define process opportunities for Operations Systems that streamline business processes, promote best practices and drive business benefits.

Perform technical and functional problem solving and ensure integration with other solutions/applications

Document business requirements and translate them into specification documents that result in solutions that meet or exceed the defined business requirements.

Work in cross functional teams to provide seamless integration between Operations and other enterprise applications.

Lead/participate in ERP related projects and ensure stakeholder alignment around the vision, scope, schedule and budget for the digital solution.

Identify, evaluate, and implement continuous business improvement opportunities enabled by standard application configurations to promote best practices and drive business benefits.

Provide knowledge transfer to post go-live support teams.

Available and able to travel based on business/project needs.

This position is based at our Mississauga location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What you need to be successful:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes experience in a customer facing role, requirement gathering, designing functional/technical solutions, and providing support, and experience in managing and delivering projects in dynamic organizations;

OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related field that includes experience in a customer facing role, requirement gathering, designing functional/technical solutions, and providing support, and experience in managing and delivering projects in dynamic organizations

5+ years of SAP configuration experience of the SAP Production Planning module (SAP S4 experience is desired).

Strong communicator with good facilitation, analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP PP certification (ECC/S4)
  • Working knowledge of SAP PM (Plant maintenance) or other modules

Strong technical experience working in a complex SAP landscape.

Demonstrated leadership of successful process improvement initiatives.

Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation that spans

Demonstrated agile mindset and proven history of helping implement and support scaled

BTP/MES experience

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, daily, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

This position has been designated as ‘onsite’, with regular in-person work at our premises located in Longueuil, Quebec.

The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
