Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada is seeking a System Analyst for our on-site Digital Technologies team in Mississauga. You will partner with operations to design and deliver IT solutions, focusing on SAP S/4 Hana modules and ERP integrations across Production, Assembly & Test and Plant Maintenance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in IT, SAP PP configuration experience, and strong communication skills to drive cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 5+ years IT experience including requirements gathering, customer-facing roles, and delivering projects.
  • 5+ years of SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) configuration experience, preferably SAP S4.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the SAP S/4 Hana digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream.
  • Define process opportunities with stakeholders for Operations Systems to streamline processes and drive benefits.
  • Perform technical and functional problem solving and ensure integration with other solutions.

Position overview:

By joining us as a system analyst, you will be part of our onsite Digital Technologies team based in Longueuil, which focuses on delivering IT solutions for our Operations team, particularly for the Production, Assembly & Test and Plant Maintenance organizations.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, highly motivated and mission-driven individual who will engage directly with the operations organization to understand customer requirements, identify, and develop solutions that meet or exceed customers’ expectations

This position requires partnership with a cross functional Digital Technology team, 3rd party software vendors, partners and subject matter experts to develop and execute integrated solutions.

The individual will leverage a strong technical background to propose solutions, troubleshoot complex issues and propose innovative solutions that leverage best practices and technologies within the company’s application processes and architecture.

What your day to day will look like:
  • Participate in the SAP S/4 Hana digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream
  • Work with business stakeholders and other functional areas to define process opportunities for Operations Systems that streamline business processes, promote best practices and drive business benefits.
  • Perform technical and functional problem solving and ensure integration with other solutions/applications
  • Document business requirements and translate them into specification documents that result in solutions that meet or exceed the defined business requirements.
  • Work in cross functional teams to provide seamless integration between Operations and other enterprise applications.
  • Lead/participate in ERP related projects and ensure stakeholder alignment around the vision, scope, schedule and budget for the digital solution.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement continuous business improvement opportunities enabled by standard application configurations to promote best practices and drive business benefits.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to post go-live support teams.
  • Available and able to travel based on business/project needs.
What you need to be successful:

Minimum qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes experience in a customer facing role, requirement gathering, designing functional/technical solutions, and providing support, and experience in managing and delivering projects in dynamic organizations;
  • OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related field that includes experience in a customer facing role, requirement gathering, designing functional/technical solutions, and providing support, and experience in managing and delivering projects in dynamic organizations
  • 5+ years of SAP configuration experience of the SAP Production Planning module (SAP S4 experience is desired).
  • Strong communicator with good facilitation, analytical skills
  • Project management skillset

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP PP certification (ECC/S4)
  • Working knowledge of SAP PM (Plant maintenance) or other modules
  • Strong technical experience working in a complex SAP landscape.
  • Demonstrated leadership of successful process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation that spans
  • organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated agile mindset and proven history of helping implement and support scaled
  • agile practices.
  • Program debugging experience
  • BTP/MES experience

This position is based at our Mississauga location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.
