Job summary

A leading consulting firm based in Canada is seeking an experienced SAP Implementation FICO Functional Consultant to lead various project initiatives. The successful candidate will guide business workshops, analyze legacy data, and ensure the implementation of SAP systems is completed successfully. With a strong background in SAP Finance Implementations and S/4 HANA, you will also be responsible for producing custom solution specifications and guiding development teams in solution realization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SAP Finance Implementations/Rollouts required.
• 2+ years of experience with S/4 HANA Implementations/Rollouts.
• Experience creating functional documentation for data migration.

Responsibilities

Overview

Our SAP Implementation FICO Functional Consultant will lead others through the implementation of SAP. Duties include but may not be limited to.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead business workshops for blueprinting activities
• Analyze legacy data, quality check of submitted load files, testing load quality, leading user testing and acceptance of load process, providing input into specifications for automated data migration transformation rules, analysis and identification of duplicate records and other activities required for successful and on time data migration
• Perform high-level analysis of customer business processes and requirements to support project Data Migration requirements with proposed solutions
• Perform detailed analysis of customer requirements to produce custom solution specifications
• Provide direction to SAP BODS / ADM development teams for solution realization and participate, as necessary, during coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance activities
• Work closely with Data Migration team to document data migration requirements, on project planning and load scheduling, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

Qualifications

• 8+ of Overall experience in SAP Finance Implementations / Rollouts
• 2+ Yrs. of experience with S/4 HANA Implementations / Rollout experience
• Experience with creating functional documentation for data migration field mapping, rules etc..
• Skills - Solid knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture.
