Overview

EY Consulting Services is seeking a Manager to join our SAP enterprise applications team as SAP Data Lead Architect - Manager. This role offers variety, challenge, responsibility, and leadership opportunities across Fortune 1000 clients in industries including Manufacturing, Pharma, Energy / Utilities, Transportation, Telecommunications, Entertainment / Media, Oil / Gas and Consumer Goods / Retail.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, you\'ll assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the ERP consulting market. You will also participate in large-scale SAP solution implementation engagements in a client-facing capacity and demonstrate functional and technical leadership by helping our clients collaboratively solve their challenges.

To qualify, candidates must possess :

Soft skills

• Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis, including executives.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, with interest in integrating enterprise domain knowledge with technology skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative, inclusive team-oriented environment.
• Consistently deliver high-quality client services within timeframes and budget; ability to challenge stakeholders and propose creative solutions.
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes. Manage client service expectations and stay current with industry trends.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel may be 25-75% depending on the project.

Hard skills / experience

• 8-10 years of SAP MDM experience, 5+ end-to-end implementations.
• Hands-on data migration (ETLV) experience in S/4HANA data migration using Syniti ADMM; knowledge of S/4 data loading methods (IDOCs, LTMC/LTMOM, LSMW, and custom programs).
• Experience setting up S/4HANA data migration technical architecture using Syniti ADMM and providing technical leadership to the data conversion development team.
• Understanding of SAP data conversion lifecycle (data readiness, conversion design-build-test, mock loads, data validation, data cutover).
• Proficiency in source data analysis using SQL or other querying tools; experience with SAP data profiling and cleansing (de-duplication, match/merge, standardization, rationalization).
• Deep knowledge of key SAP objects (e.g., MM, BP, Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs) and familiarity with SAP functional modules (Record to Report - FI/CO; Procure to Pay - MM/IM/EWM; Project Systems; Portfolio and Project Management; Plant Maintenance; Quality Management; Production Planning; IBP).
• Experience delivering SAP data conversion solutions for Energy sector clients is a bonus.
• Syniti ADMM capabilities:
  • Data extraction (Snapshot Management) from on-prem and cloud sources (including SAP & non-SAP via iPaaS).
  • Data profiling, data quality dashboarding, and reporting (Quality Module); de-duplication (Syniti Match); data construction (Construct app); mapping and transformation (Syniti Migrate).
  • Data load via Data migration cockpit (Migrate Your Data app); LTMOM add/update objects; data reconciliation (pre-validation, simulation, post-validation).
  • End-to-end data orchestration within ADMM; Change Data Capture (Delta); user & access management; data encryption, decryption & masking.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $90,000 to $165,000. Salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and location.
