We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

What you'll do

As a Project Manager within our dynamic North America CX Solution Area, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of high-quality SAP Commerce Cloud solutions. You will oversee the end-to-end execution of eCommerce implementation projects, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, budget, and timeline. This involves planning, coordinating, and managing project activities while fostering a culture of Agile excellence. The Project Manager works closely with the project board members (Product Owner, Lead Software Developer, Lead QA Analyst, and Solution Architect) to deliver the complete solution for the customer. You will serve as the key point of contact for stakeholders, removing impediments, mitigating risks, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers' success, requiring frequent interaction with international clients and occasional travel.

  • Lead high-level project planning, ensuring timelines and schedules are managed effectively, while delegating detailed task planning to the team.
  • Oversee the project budget, tracking financials to ensure alignment with the established budget, and address any variances.
  • Serve as the central point of information collection within the Project Board, ensuring a consistent flow of information across the project.
  • Coordinate meetings with the customer team to maintain strong relationships and ensure alignment on project progress.
  • Align with senior management, particularly the Project Delivery Manager, to ensure strategic alignment and effective project execution.
  • Support Project Board members in consulting and coaching customers on Agile methodologies, implementation best practices, and eCommerce solutions.
  • Proactively identify changes in work scope and engage stakeholders to reassess and adjust project scope, budget, and timeline as needed.
  • Communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives, motivating the team to achieve them and fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Conduct project planning activities and oversee the execution of the project lifecycle, from Initiating to Close, ensuring proper use of methodologies, tools, procedures, and governance.
  • Escalate project issues early to account management or delivery management to ensure timely resolution.
  • This role involves working in a distributed environment with our international customers and requires occasional overseas travel. Monthly travel will range between 0-20% on average.

What you bring

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree with total of 8 to 12 years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software development projects.
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial projects in a Professional Services environment.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
  • Experience managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of delivering customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience working with international, enterprise-level customers.
  • Understanding of B2C and / or B2B eCommerce solutions.
