The SAC Administrator is part of the Country Western Canada Finance Team. This role is responsible for developing dashboards, visualizations, and supporting the planning process of the local finance team in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud). The SAC Administrator works closely with, and in support of, the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.
What You'll Accomplish
- Safety: Communicate, improve, and adhere to safety policies in all work environments.
- Design, build, and maintain: Support process automation and efficient reporting for the FP&A team. Develop understanding of KPIs and other key company metrics to create and validate reports regularly.
- Subject matter expert: Act as the liaison to the North America BI/Data/Analytics team for report development and upgrades.
- Local End user Support: Assist finance team members with training, development, and maintenance of workbooks and reports based on SAC data models.
- Report Maintenance: Support detailed analysis and report requests, including preparing reports for executive reporting, operational performance, forecasts, and mid-term plans.
- Dashboard development: Ensure reports are accurate, performant, and scalable to optimize end-user experience.
- Financial Data/Reporting: Understand basic financial statements and develop reports based on them to support FP&A activities.
- Tool Conversion (SAC to BPC): Support converting Excel-based BPC reports into web-based SAC reports with similar functionality.
- Health & Safety: Demonstrate commitment to safety policies and promote a safety culture.
What We're Looking For
- Preferred completion of a professional accounting program (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA).
- Field of Study: Technology, Analytics, Data, or Finance/Accounting.
- 5-7 years of professional experience.
- Certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud, BPC, or related tools.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and Access.
- Additional requirements include strong independent work ability, interpersonal skills, financial/business analysis experience, multitasking, training skills, SAC web client knowledge, Excel expertise for data queries, report writing and financial modeling skills, and previous BPC support experience.
- Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use, including respirator fit requirements.
