The Role:

We are seeking seasonal Sanitation Workers to join our team.

This position is responsible for diligently sanitizing the production lines and equipment, preparing foot and hand dips, as well as general housekeeping such as, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, garbage disposal, and general cleaning of the common areas and as well as transporting fish.

As part of the sanitation team, you will be handling and mixing cleaning chemicals; therefore, sound judgement and strict adherence to our Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) and use of Personal Protective Equipment is required.

Primary duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Clean work areas and sanitize equipment.
  • Unload fish from fishing vessels and transport them by hand or forklift to work area in fish processing plant.
  • Weigh fish and record weight and pack fish in ice
  • Transport supplies, ice, and packaging materials throughout plant and storage area manually or with powered equipment
  • Dump tubs of fish into hoppers.

The successful candidate will be an individual who has a strong focus to detail, works well in a high demanding, deadline driven environment as part of a team while respecting and adhering to quality control and health and safety regulations
