Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Food Services Supervisor or Area Manager, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Sanitation/Warewash Attendant is responsible for: performing general cleaning in the Main Kitchen; operating pot washing machine and performing a variety of cleaning tasks and waste disposal tasks; and performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to move heavy objects such as garbage bags, bails of cardboard and garbage from pulper area.
  • Ability to withstand heat and steam.
  • Ability to walk/stand throughout the shift.
