Job summary

SNDL is seeking a Sanitation Technician at the Atholville Facility to maintain clean and orderly production areas in line with quality and safety standards.

Key duties include cleaning equipment, guiding team members, following SOPs, and completing sanitation documentation while contributing to a collaborative, health-conscious work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven sanitation experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

About the Role

Sanitation Technicians are responsible for keeping all production areas in a clean and orderly condition to ensure compliance standards are met and production functions as expected.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleaning equipment and production areas


• Assisting and guiding team members with sanitation tasks


• Ensuring cleaning meets quality and safety standards


• Following SOPs for chemical and equipment use


• Removing trash and recycling regularly


• Reporting supply needs to your supervisor


• Completing required cleaning documentation

As a Sanitation Technician you bring

• Proven sanitation experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment required


• Ability to stand for long periods of time & ability to lift upwards of 30lbs


• Valid WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire


• Proven ability to work in a team environment and work independently


• Professional attitude and appearance


• Strong attention to detail


• Solid written and verbal communication skills


• Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
