Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store Clean Team Supervisor in Windsor, Ontario. You will lead the Clean Team, ensuring top-notch customer service and a safe, clean store environment that encourages repeat visits.

You will supervise daily duties, train associates, manage supplies and maintain sanitation standards, while upholding company values and safety guidelines. Bilingual or second language skills are a plus.

Job description

Monitor all established quality assurance standards. Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service. Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Clean Team. Responsible for the execution of best practices, goals and established standards for the Clean Team.   • Gain and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment required for maintaining store sanitation and food safety standards
  • Monitor and control supply expenses for the Clean Team and overall store sanitation needs
  • Maintain an awareness of inventory and orderliness conditions in Cleaning Center; note any discrepancies in inventory
  • Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair
  • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner
  • Manage the scheduling of Clean Team associates to provide adequate department coverage
  • Understand the store's layout and have the ability to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify store management
  • Notify management of customer or employee accidents
  • Report all safety and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud
  • Collaborate with team members to encourage teamwork and align the goals of the organization
  • Ensure that the Clean Team associates are current and compliant with company training standards
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
