ABOUT OUR OPERATION

Agnico Eagle is always looking for talented team members to join our Nunavut mining operations. Meliadine is located northwest of Rankin Inlet, a small coastal town on the shores of Hudson Bay. Commercial production began at Meliadine in mid-May 2019, and the mine officially opened at the end of June. This mine is our largest gold deposit in terms of mineral resources, and we expect to operate it for at least 14 years. The site features a power plant, processing facilities, and a complete camp complex.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

1. Attend a 56-day training (4 rotations) program at the Meliadine Mine site;
2. Follow the Trainer’s instructions at all times;
3. Inspect the working equipment daily;
4. Inspect the working environment by scaling rocks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

1. High School Diploma;
2. Must obtain approval to work underground from the Canadian Explosives Regulatory Division;
3. Possess strong work ethics, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team;
4. Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral & written).
