We are looking for a Sample Logistics Technician who will report to the Sample Support Supervisor/Customer Service Supervisor. The role is based in Calgary, A.B., on a fixed-term contract until November 2025.

Basic Purpose: Responsible for sample receipt, preparation, shipping duties, and administrative functions for clients in support of the Sample Logistics Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients professionally and positively
• Receive and organize external samples according to analytical requirements
• Enter samples into LIMS and ensure timely approvals
• Manage sample redirection, bottle orders, and inventory
• Support the Sample Log In team, ensure data accuracy, and escalate issues
• Maintain temperature monitoring and adhere to quality and safety policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Knowledge:

• High School Diploma; laboratory experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Attention to detail, strong communication, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced lab environment with flexible hours, including overtime and shifts
• Physical activity including lifting and standing for long periods

The salary range for this role is $18.00 per hour.
